Detailed Description
- Vagisan Cream is indicated for the relief of symptoms of vaginal dryness.
Considerations
- Regular use of Vagisan Cream can help prevent irritation and inflammation in the vagina and external genital area. Due to the addition of lactic acid, the cream has a pH of 4.5, therefore it helps to maintain the natural pH of the region.
- It is hormone-free (estrogen) and can be applied together with hormone replacement therapy or alternating with vaginal creams or hormone-containing eggs (estrogen).
- It contains a high water content and nourishing lipids (fat) that help keep the skin smooth.

How to Use
- It should be applied to the vagina and the skin of the external genital area. Can be used with or without applicator.
- For symptoms at the opening of the vagina and the external genital area, the cream should be applied with a clean finger, applying, even several times a day as needed, a little cream about 0.5 cm long. A small amount of cream can be applied to the area around the entrance to the vagina to make it easier to insert the applicator.
- Vagisan cream can be applied into the vagina using the applicator provided. Fill the applicator halfway (approximately 2.5 g of cream, see also “Instructions for use with the applicator”). The application must be done daily, preferably at night before going to bed. Once symptoms have improved, the frequency of application can be reduced as needed.
- The cream can also be used before sexual intercourse or during menstruation. If Vagisan Moistcream is well tolerated, it can also be used for longer periods and during pregnancy (without an applicator; see "Instructions for use during pregnancy") and during breastfeeding.
