Optive It is a dual-action formulation: lubricant and moisturizer of the ocular surface, providing relief from burning, irritation, ocular dryness, feeling of sand and foreign body that can be caused by dust, smoke, sun, wind, dry air, air conditioning. Optive also acts as a protector against eye irritation.

Optive contraindications

Optive is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to any of the components of the formula.

Warnings

Optive should not be used if the solution changes color. The use of the product is exclusively external. Contact lens wearers: Remove lenses before applying Optive and wait at least 15 minutes before replacing. Application of the lubricant generally does not cause changes in vision. If there is slight blurring of vision shortly after application, it is recommended to wait until vision returns to normal before driving vehicles or operating machinery. Discontinue use if undesirable reactions appear. Keep out of the reach of children.

Optive is generally well tolerated and may cause temporary blurring of vision after instillation due to its viscosity.

Optive - Dosage

Optive is a clear, colorless lubricant and is intended for use in the eyes only. Do not use Optive if there are signs of tampering and/or damage to the vial. Do not touch the tip of the bottle to your eyes, fingers or any other surface, to avoid contamination of the bottle and the solution. Gently pull the lower eyelid down to form a small pocket. Apply 1 to 2 drops in the eyes, as many times as necessary. For users of soft or hydrophilic contact lenses, remove the lenses before applying Optive, and wait at least 15 minutes to replace them after applying the product. Close the bottle tightly after use
