Locetar medicated nail polish is an antifungal used in the topical treatment of onychomycosis (fungal nail infections) due to dermatophytes, yeasts and molds.
How to use:
Locetar EF medicated nail polish should be applied to the affected nails once or twice a week (usually one application per week is sufficient. Average duration of treatment Treatment should be continued without interruption until full growth of a healthy nail and healing of the affected areas.
The duration of treatment essentially depends on the intensity, location of the infection and the ability of the nails to grow. In general this translates to 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.
