Diarrhea is a phenomenon that is associated with a state of irritation and inflammation of the intestinal mucosa due to causes of different origins. Even so, it is characterized by an increase in secretion, as well as a reduced absorption of liquids, associated with an increase in intestinal motility. In addition to discomfort and pain, diarrhea poses the risk of dehydration, loss of vitamins and minerals, as well as an imbalance in the intestinal bacterial flora.

Indications

Indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhea of ​​different origins (viral infection, flu syndromes characterized by diarrhea, iatrogenic diarrhea due to the ingestion of drugs, stress conditions, incorrect diet and lifestyles, traveler's diarrhea, hormonal changes such as during the cycle menstrual). And for the treatment of flare-ups of chronic diarrhea (such as IBS – irritable bowel syndrome, functional diarrhoea, inflammatory bowel diseases, etc.) in association with specific therapeutic treatment. The product is indicated for adults and young people from 12 years old.

How it works

It works thanks to Actitan-P, a plant molecular complex resulting from Aboca research that reduces diarrhea and normalizes stool consistency, favoring a rapid balance of intestinal functions.
Actitan-P counteracts the inflammation of the intestinal mucosa , present in case of diarrhea, thanks to two mechanisms of action:

• protective action , obtained through the formation of a film. With a barrier effect that limits contact with microorganisms and irritating agents;

• antioxidant action , which counteracts irritation of the mucosa.

How to use

It is recommended to take 2 capsules 2-3 times a day depending on the severity of the disorder. However, if the symptom persists for more than 7 days, consult a doctor.
