Medicine indicated for the relief of nasal congestion (stuffy nose), related to sinusitis and rhinitis.
Active substances:
Oxymetazoline hydrochloride (0.5 mg/mL)
Excipients:
- citric acid monohydrate
- Sodium Citrate Dihydrate
- Glycerol
- Purified water
How to use:
When using the product for the first time, press into the air until a dose is released. This way you know which medicine is ready to be used. Blow your nose before use.
Apply the recommended dose in each nostril, keeping the bottle in a vertical position, as recommended by the doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions:
- Do not use in case of allergy to any of the constituents of the medicine (active substances or excipients).
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Contraindicated in patients with glaucoma, after hypophysectomy, acute coronary disease or cardiac asthma.
- If you have inflammation of the skin and mucous membrane of the nose, do not use this medicine.
- Use is not recommended if you have hypertension, hyperthyroidism or diabetes mellitus.
- Use is not recommended if you have prostate hyperplasia or coronary artery disease.
- Prolonged use may cause congestion to recur.
- Do not use this medicine if you are taking MAOIs or tricyclic antidepressants.
- Not recommended during pregnancy.
- Not recommended for women who are breastfeeding.
- Not recommended for children under the age of 6 years.
