Urgo Herpes Filmogel forms a discreet film that treats cold sores in all stages. Relieves itching, tingling, burning, limits the growth of cold sores and the formation of blisters and sores.
In addition, it also prevents contamination and promotes healing. You can apply makeup over the product. This product can be used from the appearance of the first symptom until the complete disappearance of the lesion.
Composition
Cellulose derivative, Mineral acid, Carboxylic acid, Vegetable oil, Alcohol and Water.
How to Use
Apply the required dose onto clean skin, using the single-use applicator provided, in order to cover the entire cold sore sore. You may feel a tingling or burning sensation when applying the solution.
Allow to dry approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Drying time depends on the amount of product applied.
To continue the treatment, repeat the application as many times as necessary, according to the adhesiveness of the film to your skin or lips: from 2 to a maximum of 4 times a day. Continue the treatment until it is completely healed.
Precautions
Do not use in the following cases:
- In cold sores larger than 1 cm in diameter, as it requires consultation with a doctor.
- In case of bacterial infection and/or risk of bacterial infection (impetigo).
- In case of weakened immune system (related to a chronic and/or medically induced illness).
- In case of an episode of atopic eczema.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt or:
- If you have more than 6 cold sore episodes per year;
- If you don't see a visible improvement after 7 days.
