MucoClear 3% Sol Saline Hypertronic 20x4ml
Hypertonic saline inhalation is a widely used and recognized form of treatment to increase the mobilization of secretions in the lower respiratory tract.
The osmotic effects of salt on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract help loosen mucus which can then be cleared more easily through coughing. This provides considerable relief to patients with acute bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, COPD or bronchiectasis.
Mucoclear can be used with jet-operated compressor nebulizers, ultrasonic nebulizers or vibrating membrane nebulizers. Sterile, preservative-free, ready-to-use ampoules.
It exists in a 3% concentration, especially recommended in the treatment of acute bronchiolitis, and 6% especially recommended in cystic fibrosis.
